7th Dec : Monique is giving a concert with her band in the Music theatre Snurretoppen in Store Heddinge

Monique and Snurretoppen

Monique hasn't done many public concerts recently, because she has chosen to primarily concentrate on her performances at the larger corporate events.

However, she loves the small intimate settings where she can look her audience in the eyes, communicate with them and share her stories, and therefor Monique wants to spend more time doing these intimate concerts in the year to come.

This concert takes place in the cozy Music Theatre Snurretoppen the 4th of december, in Algade 32, 4600 Store Heddinge and Monique is bringing her own amazing band with her. It will be an evening with many wonderful Monique songs, all the way back from her debut album "Shadows", including the hit "Tell me why" ;-) but you will also hear a few children and Christmas songs, because Monique has recorded quite a few of those.

Monique has already decided to record a live cd with her band next year, more about that in the new year !

So if you are in town, have 250 DKK to spare and want to treat yourself to a great music experience, you know where to do ;-) There will be a few surprises and presents to put under the Christmas tree. The concerts begins at 8pm.

More about Snurretoppen here.

Monique and Søren Østergaard

He dances with Danish, he does measurements and is super shy ;-) these are only 3 of  actor and comedian Søren Østergaard’s many beloved characters which he has presented to us over the years. He is so funny and Monique is fortunate to be performing with him again in Skanderborg in jutland. All tickets are sold out, but keep an eye out, maybe you can come along next time. ;-)

Monique and the Christmas Competition

Christmas is just around the corner and during this special time a year we need a Christmas Competition with the opportunity to win an extra present to put under the tree.  All you need to do is answer this question :

When is Monique’s birthday?

If you need help, you can look at Monique's website.

Email your answer to: info@monique.dk

We draw lots to choose the winner who will be informed directly.

The great gift you can win is the beautiful heart shaped bronze cork. It’s like a little sculpture made by the artist Lo Maluue Lynghøj and it is a piece of art - look at the picture.

Read more about Lo on www.artbylo.dk and look at her beautiful paintings and during December she has moved her studio to the Fields Shopping Center, so you can meet her there. Good luck !

"Jingle bells, Jingle bells "........ the sound of a sleigh ride through the snow.

I remember my early childhood x-mas´s filled with snow, lots of snow, wonderful ! ;-) Nothing is more beautiful and more serene than snow slowly falling.

We can still hope for a white Christmas and this song which you can find on the cd "Nissekys og Stjernedrys" is called "Bjældeklang" in Danish.I hope it will bring you into that special Christmas mode. If you listen carefully, you can hear my younger sister laughing in the background with me ;-) Can you see and feel the snow falling, and the cold giving you red cheeks ??

Listen to Monique singing the Danish version of Jingle bells here.

Merry Christmas to all of You !

We all want to stay as beautiful and attractive as possible, and for as long as possible. Depending on who you are, temperament, money situation, beliefs, we all take care of ourselves it in different ways.

I want to look beautiful, but at the same time I’m a bit of a “chicken”, and always choose the natural solutions. Let´s look at wrinkles for instace ;-) they are natural and you get them as a result of a life well-lived. Some of us may have lived a little too much ;-) and maybe we want to  reduce the “damages” a bit and straighten them out. Serving this purpose a new brilliant face lifting technique has been launch. It is called ALT, and it is everything you need, some might say ;-) It is short for : Ansigts (Facial) Lifting Technique and it is a treatment without the use of a “knife";-)

ALT is a soft massage where the face is being massaged with small, gentle and very precise movements, which stimulate the connective tissue and loosen the tensions in the facial muscles, which result in the wrinkles slowly being reduced and I find it it very visible, you can actually see it after each treatment and on top of that, it is pure pleasure ;-)

A full ALT consist of 6 treatments with 1-2 weeks in between. During the first 5 treatments your head, forehead, and eyes are treated followed by your nose, cheeks, lips, chin, and neck. The last treatment summarizes and concludes the others. The 6th treatment will give you a little bit more in the areas where you think it is needed.

Each treatment costs 550 DKK and takes about 50 minutes.

I have had ALT treatments by Anette Zioni at ”Den Indre Gård” in Østerbro, Copenhagen.

Read more about ALT here : www.denindregaard.dk.

Or phone Anette : +45 2010 6700.

It’s like being in heaven ;-) So enjoy !
